Denis McGuinn – NSW Director

After managing Local Government Appointments NSW for more than 20 years, Denis has taken on the role of Director but will still be involved in the operation of the branch.  Denis continues to act as a mentor to the Team sharing the knowledge, and experience he gained over 30 years working in Local Government and his time as the Manager of our NSW office. 

Denis is committed to ensuring that Councils throughout NSW will receive the best solutions for both permanent and temporary recruitment.

Nicholas McLachlan – Recruitment Manager

More than three years ago, Nick joined Local Government Appointments as a Recruitment Consultant, bringing with him a strong background in marketing, client service, and operational coordination. He thoroughly enjoys working in the local government environment and applies his well‑rounded skill set to every recruitment assignment.

Due to his excellent performance within our team, Nick has now been promoted to Recruitment Manager.

Nick is responsible for sourcing candidates for permanent and temporary roles across the NSW local government sector. He is highly customer‑focused and committed to presenting candidates who will positively represent your Council.

Usha Sharma – Recruitment Consultant

With over 35 years of diverse experience in both England and Australia, Usha is committed to ensuring that your Council has the best possible experience when dealing with Local Government Appointments. 

Usha has been a member of our team for four years.  She is very familiar with our policies and processes and has a strong people-first mindset.  This ensures a quality experience for Candidates and Clients at every stage of the recruitment process.
